Jeffrey Arredondo–Violin Instructor

Jeffrey Arredondo is a violinist from Compton, California, who began playing the violin at the age of six. Now 22, he continues to advance his musical development through collegiate study and an active professional performance career. He received his foundational training at the Watts Willowbrook Music Academy under the instruction of Joseph R. Taylor, and later pursued private study with Vivian Kukiel at the Colburn School. Jeffrey performs with the Inner City Youth Orchestra of Los Angeles (ICYOLA), Watts Willowbrook Strings, and the Bellflower Symphony Orchestra, as well as a variety of chamber and freelance ensembles. His performance experience includes venues such as Walt Disney Concert Hall, Catalina Jazz Club, Universal Music, Crypto.com Arena, and the private residence of Los Angeles Mayor Karen Bass, and collaborations with artists including Imagine Dragons, Yuko Mabuchi, John Legend, MC Hammer, and Jermaine Paul.

As a teaching artist, Jeffrey is deeply committed to music education and community engagement. He is featured in an episode of Hallmark+’s Celebrations with Lacey Chabert for his ongoing work in underserved communities—communities he proudly comes from. In addition to his performance career, he serves as a violin teacher at the Watts Willowbrook Music Academy and with ICYOLA, where he is passionate about mentoring young musicians, fostering confidence, and expanding access to high-quality music education.
